The emblem of ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals Busan 2024 presented by BNK Busan Bank is developed with the purpose of introducing the beauty of Korea and its city Busan, which coexists the spirit of harmony that unites the world and diverse attractions. The trophy-like shape in the center of emblem symbolizes harmony and sportsmanship by representing two athletes handshaking, with the motive of Busan’s landmark Gwangandaegyo Bridge. The background circle symbolizes sky, and it is to imply the mysterious and natural beauty of the Moon Jar, Korea’s typical art that represents its aesthetic sense, by using atypical circle rather than a perfect one. The dynamic and voluminous curve like the heat haze signifies athletes’ passion for their participation and the image of Busan. The circle on the top-right symbolizes the rising sun, and the form of this emblem with all these components assumes the form of a table tennis racket and the ball.
